This is a Formula 1 motor race to be held in the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello in Scarperia e San Piero, Tuscania on 13 September 2020, and is officially known as the Formula 1 Pirelli Grand Prix of Tuscany Ferrari 1000 2020. The race is scheduled for the ninth round of the F1 World Championship in 2020.
This is also the first time that the Mugello Circuit hosted a Formula One world championship event to mark the 1000th Ferrari Grand Prix, which means the race has to take place in a red box, commemorating the 1000th Ferrari Grand Prix.
The 2020 championship’s opening rounds had a significant impact on the COVID-19 pandemic. After an aborted opening ceremony in Australia, several Grands Prix were canceled or postponed, and a new agenda was drawn up by the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile. The organizers announced that up to 2,880 spectators would have the Tuscan Grand Prix while the previous eight events were held behind closed doors.
The drivers and teams were the same as those on the season entry list with no additional stand-in drivers for either the race or practice.
